Busy Bee!

So I've jumped right back into my work and have many awesome shoots on the books for the coming months :).
I was fortunate enough to be a second shooter at a vow renewal last weekend and have a newborn session the following day. I've also got a few more images to share of my own little loves <3.

The renewal was gorgeous! I'm really impressed with the location and definitely putting a pin in it for future session options.

 

 

This newborn session was SO much fun! Mom and Dad were seriously the cutest couple ever and obviously their daughter was gorgeous!

 

Sahuaro Ranch Park at sunset is AHH-mazing.

 

My girlies are the highlight of my day EVERY day. :) I'm so very blessed.



Maternity and my New Addition!

I've been MIA for a bit awaiting the arrival of my newest addition. I took advantage of my maternity for a few great photo ops. My first born Aubriella, made these shoots a challenge but the end result is always worth it. :)

My second daughter, Annaliese Zaylee, was born August 10th, 2012 at 4:48am.

It was an extremely quick labor lasting about 5 hours from start to finish. I went completely natural without any pain meds and recovery has been super easy this time around!

 

Aubrie has been such a trooper. She's still dealing with a little bit of jealousy having to share Mommy and Daddy but I see her slowly warming up to her new sister. It's been nearly impossible however, to get her to sit nicely with Anna for pictures (and of course I've gone overboard with the mom-a-razzi newborn photos in the meantime while enjoying my maternity leave =P). Fortunately, I was able to grab a few cute shots while the little ones napped.

 

 Little Anna has been a wonderful muse and I've had a lot of fun playing with poses and props. Its so nice in the beginning when they're asleep 90% of the day lol.

I will be resuming work in September and I'll try to be better at updating the blog! :)

New Equipment!

Ah I'm so excited right now! Today I ordered my new camera :). I received compensation for the illustrations I'd provided to the author and we are finally in a position to upgrade from my Nikon D70. Now, my D70 has definitely served me well over the last several years but its about time I spring for higher quality. The bundle deal I got was fantastic and I'm going to be waiting very impatiently all week for that knock on the door!

I have a wedding coming up on the 21st and I'm so glad I'll be able to utilize my new equipment! :)

{bubble} Love

Bubbles are the most wonderful "kid-pleasers" during a session. The sweet excitement over whimsical floating bubbles makes for some beautiful shots.

I love that the bubble looks as though its caught between her fingers and her expression is precious!

In contrast the single bubble and his beautiful pout make for an equally sweet image with a very different feel to it!

1st Birthday Session

I was SO excited for this shoot and this little guy was seriously a heartbreaker! It took him a minute to warm up to the camera but once he did he was quite the character!

Definitely one of my favorites!

Poor baby girl is always my guinea pig and she has to be my toughest client for sure. At this point whenever mom breaks out the camera she finds it absolutely impossible to sit still! Sometimes, however, I get lucky and snap the shot at the right moment.

New Additions To This Sweet Family!

My very wonderful friend had a busy year last year. Not only did she give birth to a second handsome little prince she also adopted three beautiful little princesses!

They are truly an amazing family and I'm so blessed to be apart of their lives :).
